Fear Not Dems!

“I’m so depressed. It’s happening again. It’s a nightmare.”

Dear Depressed,
It's still your race to lose. Keep going out there aligning McCain with Bush and you should have this thing in the bag.

If, however, you don't have this thing in the bag ... which you really should because how easy can the Reps make it for you? The world dislikes the incumbent, a deficit larger than the universe, an unpopular war (that we're winning at the moment, but whatever), and a Congress with approval ratings lower than the Presidents ... well I'll discuss that another time. This should be like shooting ducks in a barrel.

Cheer up. There are still lots of things in your favor. Obama is still an uber political celebrity, and people still love him. Just cause the press is turning on him a bit doesn't mean that much, really, it doesn't. He's still holding up a in the polls; it's not the landslide you wanted, but a win's a win.

So really ... it's all going to be okay.

Sincerely,
Someone On the Other Side
