So Obama's campaign had said they were going to announce to all his supporters who the VP slot went to via text message. I don't know why I didn't see this before ...
So you go to the site and you put in your information. You give them your cell phone number.
The DNC now has a number and a name with which to target their contribution campaigns.
The brilliance of it is baffling. And if you are one of those that signed up to receive the text ... you know that you didn't receive anything until ten till 5PM last night. MSM and the bloggers had it out that morning. If I were one of those people that had offered my information up to be told first, I'd be irritated at the lapse.
And hopefully someone at the Obama camp got a stern talking to.
