List Of Things To Do When One's Husband Goes Away:
1. Watch Lifetime, WE, Oxygen, etc. television ad nasuem. As, generally that's not an option when he's home.
2. Read several books (i.e. Time Travelers Wife, Bitsy's Bait and BBQ, and a title to be found later)
3. Catch up on Burn Notice and Psych He likes both of these shows so it will be sad that he's not caught up too.
4. Discover lots of new music for the iPods. Muse, The Killers, Snow Patrol, Dashboard Confessionals, Switchfoot ... etc.
5. Bathe and groom the mutt. Much needed.
6. Deep clean the house. I know this doesn't sound fun, but the satisfaction this brings me is immeasurable. Clean baseboards! Clean blinds! Clean closet! Clean guestroom! Clean craft room! Clean *gasp* bathrooms! This is all done of course, to the blaring tunes mentioned in #4.
7. And this is the most important - NO SHOPPING. None. Preemptive saving for the trip to Europe is a much demanded necessity. There is nothing available in the states this weekend that I need more than I need street art from France. *sigh*
