Robert Novak says what I said
Robert Novak has a colum out today talking about how McClellan ignored the fact that Richard Armitage was the source of the Plame leak, and that the investigation and Grand Jury found that no wrong doing had been done, no violation of the Intelligance Identities Protection Act, because Plame was not covert.
He says McClellan's drinking the kool-aid, and going off the deep end with the conspiracy theory that Rove and or Cheney are the real leaks and villians in that story. Even though the facts prove otherwise.
Politico has also obtained a copy of the first proposal that McClellan was shopping to publishers. Read it. The book he proposed writing was negative concerning the White House Press Corps, and their treatment of him. He was also going to talk about President Bush in a positive light, giving insight to why he thinks the way he thinks.
Bottom line: its still a non-story. Just a guy out to make a buck and this is how the editors told him he could make one.
