It was his Great Uncle
Well you figured it was something like this right? A slip up, the results of 15 months+ of hard, nonstop campaigning and 14 hour days.

The Obama campaign later claimed that the Illinois senator was referring to his great uncle, and that he had in fact confused Auschwitz with the Ohrdruf Concentration Camp. According to the campaign, his great uncle served in the 89th Infantry Division, and the unit was among those to liberate Ohrdruf on April 4, 1945.
I feel for the guy, I really do. He says stupid things and we all jump on him. Like - did he mean that? Was that just an honest mistake? Or is he lying? Does he not know that money does not equate viable threat? Or is he just pulling our chain?
I heard on the radio, some woman was arguing with the host about how much McCain flip flops on issues. I don't know if he does or not. Sure, let's bet he does. But ... really ... how many times has Obama's campaign had to come out and explain something he's said? With Iran for instance. He will talk to Iran. No it's not a guarentee that he will talk to Iran. Iran isn't a real threat? No, he meant that Iran wasn't a real threat until recently. It's dizzying. His wife isn't proud of this country? No, she has been proud before, she's just really proud now. So he's going to bomb Pakistan?
Um ... no comment.
I'm beginning to believe that the best minds in our nation go to NASA and corporate America. Because its looking like only dumbies end up in Washington.
