Too Little Too Late
Absolute has apologized.
It doesn't change my point of view. I'll buy Austin Tito's over Absolute in the future, even though it costs more. I'd rather support American products anyway.
The AP wrote a story about it with this quote:
I resent their resentment, as they were paid for those lands, after they lost the war. $313M (2006 money) for lands that were undeveloped and unsettled.
Anyway. I'm glad Absolut has realized their own stupidity, but they have forever lost my business.
The ad has been withdrawn as of Friday April 4th and will not be used in the future.
