Time Magazine Sucks.

Somethings are sacrasanct. Apparently, those emmersed in climate change / global warming / "going green" have absolutely no respect for the sacrifices of others in the name of something far, far, far greater.
As the gentleman in THIS article says (you can see Time's deplorable cover there too) ... I hope the editors don't run into a vet from that theater.

I don't read / purchase / subscribe to that rag anyway, but this just further proves I'm right not to. And that there are some that value winning their "war" on climate change over the lives of Marines who so heroically and symbolically
Time Magazine's Managing Editor said this on MSNBC:
“[O]ne of the things we do in the story is we say there needs to be an effort along the lines of preparing for World War II to combat global warming and climate change,” Stengel said. “It seems to me that this is an issue that is very popular with the voters, makes a lot of sense to them and a candidate who can actually bundle it up in some grand way and say, ‘Look, we need a national and international Manhattan Project to solve this problem and my candidacy involves that.’ I don't understand why they don’t do that.”
I'll tell you why ... because it doesn't make sense to a lot of voters.
And it doesn't make sense because ....
If you believe the earth is thousands of years old, than you believe that the earth has been through several ice ages / warming periods. It seems the highest form of ego to think that in the last 50 years (barely a blip!) our involvement on this planet has managed to not only heat the SUN but has also caused a global event. And this is a THEORY not a religion or a fact. It is a theory. But it's a theory that the MSM refuses to show the other side on. There are other scientists out there who say that the earth has actually cooled in the later years, but you don't hear from them.
Now, I'm not opposed to lower our footprint here or recycling or even getting away from carbon emissions. But I will never think it is right to do so at the cost of Human life. Nor will I think that participating in some global initiative that favors foreign lands over the United States is a good plan.
And I will never, ever, ever, think that desecrating our most precious images in the name of junk science is appropriate.
Time magazine sucks.

I'm with you 100%. If they care about the movement then why do they tear down forests to print their garbage. Does anyone subscribe to that magazine? Except doctors offices.
