Say it with me ... "TERM LIMITS!"

Trent Lott is the creepiest of the creepy. He's got a huge head and he's just horrible. Not because he has a huge head or anything, but he does have a huge head.

Once, when I was walking in the tunnels between Senate buildings, he was walking by me and he winked at me. In a grotesque, "Hey cutie," gross revolting sort of way. I was young enough to be his granddaughter!

Ew.

But this story (found via Michelle) just really solidifies everything that I dispise about Washington and the Senate, and it's why I'm very, very sad, that our next President is coming from that trough.

"I took the Metro for the first time," Lott told the Sleuth Thursday afternoon in the makeup room of MSNBC, where he and his new lobbying partner, former Sen. John Breaux (D-La.), were fixin (as Lott says) to do a TV segment.

"He's been standing in front of his house waiting for his car and driver," laughed Breaux from the makeup chair, adding with a tinge of a low-country twang, "He's learning how to hail a cab." (Read: HAY-ul a cab.)

Life in the private sector isn't as cushy as Lott thought it would be. No more free lunches, no more taxpayer-funded car and driver, no more overprotective press secretary guarding him from the pesky media.

He's quoted in the article saying "I haven't paid for lunch in 30 years."

And these are our representatives?? I'm really not feeling like these elitist babies understand the first thing about being a regular American. We need term limits. And we need them fast. Who was it? Dorgan? No the guy from Delaware who ran for President ... I can't remember his name ... but he has never had a "regular" job. Since he was of legal age, he's served in the Senate. I'm sure his perspective is great too.

Term limits.
