Snow in Dallas!

So last night we had raging winds, thundering rain, and a tornado warning until 9:00 this morning. Tonight, however, we have two inches of fat snow! It's madness!

What's even crazier is that tomorrow it's supposed to be in the 50s. So these fast flakes don't have long before they are little droplets of rain.

I wish it had been daylight, I could have gotten much nicer pictures of the house with a thick layer of snow on the roof, it might be the only time I see that here.

And yeah ... those are the Marigolds I planted two weeks ago. :( We'll see how they fair after this. But isn't it amazing! All that snow!
