Troubled Actor Brad Renfro Dies at 25
You may not remember this kid. He played the child in "The Client" with Susan Sarandon and Tommy Lee Jones back in the early 90s. I remember him from Huck Finn, which he did with Jonathon Taylor Thomas of Home Improvement fame.
He was a drug abuser, and was in and out of trouble throughout the late 90s. It's just sad. He had a career, money ... and he drank it all away.
I don't understand why actors / actresses with all their money and all their celebrity and their nice homes, clothes, etc ... think that the right thing to do with their blessings of plenty is to destroy their bodies and minds with drugs.
If you have so much money that you're bored and don't know what to do ... I can name a few charities that would benefit. Give some already? Give more. Last I checked there was no limit on how much you could give.
It's sad and depressing. He was younger than me. Barely started in this life. And because the devil spoke in his ear he's gone.
