Handful of things

I went to Lawrence, KS last weekend (November 9th) to visit Meryl and Blaine and to go to the Tori Amos concert with them, Kenda and Kris, and their friends. It was a really great time! Meryl and I spent Friday walking around downtown Lawerence and she took me to Blaine's jewelry store. Okay it's not his ... but someday one just like it will be! Next door to his store is another eclectic, furniture, trinket store, and the dog to your left was sleeping in the doorway. If I ever have a store, I want a dog just like that one in the front door!

Other pictures are Kenda, myself and Meryl. Aren't we lovely! Kenda did my hair. Doesn't it look nice?

This is my Grandfather's watch that Blaine is wearing. And I thought it was special.

This is called Chicken Suiza tortilla pizzas, and it's very tasty, and incredibly easy. The recipe is here (Rachael Ray) and it's great. I love Rachael Ray. If you want a magazine to order so you get mail other than junk, I highly recommend Rachael Ray's magazine. It's only $13 or so, and it has tons of recipes. I keep them all and when I need inspiration or new ideas I flip through them before I go to the grocery store. Her 30 minute meals are lifesavers for me because I don't like to spend a lot of time cooking after work. But she also has some really good regular ole time consuming recipes too!
