Schwarzenegger signs law outlawing terms perceived as negative to 'gays'
This law takes affect on January 1st, and effects other stats in that text book companies cater to their largest buyer ... and the highly populated state of California is one of those. All text books could be printed with these guidelines. Or at least that's the fear.
I've read through the law, and I'm not educated / trained enough to understand it's implications. I have to trust others (media watch dogs and bloggers) to do that for me. It is worth noting, I think, that the Governor vetoed this same legislation last year, while seeking re-election as a Republican.

Hypocritically ... while signing all of this tolerance and diversity legislation, the Governor vetoed the Gay Marriage bill put before him by the same lobbying group.
"Mom and Dad" as well as "husband and wife" have been banned from California schools under a bill signed by Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, who with his signature also ordered public schools to allow boys to use girls restrooms and locker rooms, and vice versa, if they choose.
