Broken Hearted
"The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. " Psalms 38:14
That is the Bible verse for today. Please pray very, very hard for comfort and relief for this family, the Johnson family. Army Spc. John Austin Johnson spent two years in Iraq where he survived 5 IED blasts. The last one sent him home for treatment. He awaited his family in the hospital.
On the way to the hospital, there was a wind storm. There was a car accident, and his family were all injured, and two of his young children died. The third is in critical condition.
It is not fair, not fair, not fair. NOT FAIR.
Across Texas people are responding and helping. Probably because we are collectively screaming NOT FAIR. Please pray for this family and may God Bless them. Nothing I say ... well there is nothing I can say. But this physically makes my heart hurt. It does not seem fair for the rest of us to go around to work and the mall and family outings when there are others among us enduring such immense tragedy.
My thoughts and prayers are with them. May God give them peace and comfort ... and may their children be safely away with angels.
