A Litany

I've done a bunch of things that I wanted to blog about ... but work has been a bear so I have not had time (read: energy).

Mavvy is a bumble bee for Halloween. We live in a neighborhood now with a bunch of kiddos so we will be visited. And she should look the part. As you can see ... the outfit is not her favorite. So we may just wear the hat for a while. Which she doesn't hate as much.

I made Pork Chops with golden apple raisin sauce and whole wheat broccoli. Recipe at the link. It is a Rachael Ray and was very yummy. And the house smelled like apples and cinammon. Which is never a bad thing.

We were in Houston over the weekend celebrating Victoria's (11th) and William's (4th) birthdays! I think everyone had a really good time and we always enjoy visiting everyone. Lewis's parents have moved into a new house, and that really made a lot of difference in our drive time. We actually arrived in town before 11, which is highly unusual. Typically we arrive somewhere near midnight.

That's about it from us ... next weekend I have to shop for a dress to wear to a wedding, decorate the house for Halloween (carve pumpkins!) and do more scrapbooking, because I am soooo far behind. Hope all is well with you and yours ...
