Faith In the Human Race
Restored. Okay not really ... but this really makes me sigh with relief. (Anti War Films Bomb at the Box Office. 14 year old Nightmare Before Christmas beats them.)
Now if they would only get Bionic Woman off tv.
Why? In the second episode Jamie (BW) is fighting an evil group of terrorists that released bio-chem warfare on an unsuspecting town in Ohio. Something called Pleasantville or Happytown or Perfect something like that. When Jamie arrives in perfectville to destroy the terrorists ... guess what they have on? Fatigues that look remarkable similar to the desert BDUs our soldiers wear.
Not impressed.
In episode 4 Jamie is going after terrorists who have kidnapped a hostage, a former CIA code breaker. When Jamie arrives on scene to rescue the CIA operative, her partner tries to kill him. "He has secrets that will destroy this nation!" her partner tells her. "I will not sacrifice even one human life." Jamie says.
The show is utter garbage all political agendas aside. So it will cancel.
The sooner the better. There is no room in my life for Hollywood types who want to demonize the military.
PS - Pushing Daisies is still a terrific show! And, if you're into crime dramas ... The Women's Murder club is worth DVRing and watching later during the week. I'd never give up a Friday night for it. But it's a really good show.
And, to my surprise ... I actually like Private Practice. I might like it better than Gray's this year. We'll see. I think it'd be really funny if Derrek fell in love and married Lacy Gray. Serve Meredith right.
Okay I have to work today.
