Dog's House
It's beautiful! It needs some trim work, and shingles attached to the roof ... and the dog needs to like it ... but other than that it's well on it's way to greatness! We had to hog tie the dog to get her in it ... she must not be a fan of new, dark places. But she stayed in there (under command) while we took her picture. I take that as a sign of one of two things (both are good) 1, she doesn't hate it that much or 2, she listens well when told to stay.
I'll accept either.
The dog house is eccentric in that it has an "air vent" in the back where one of the boards isn't lining up right ... but that's just signs of the love that went into it! If it were perfect, well ... what would I write a blog about? And really, it's perfect in that it's a good size for the pup and it should keep relatively dry. Especially with the shingles on!
Our weekend was busy ... we went for drinks with Lewis's customer on Friday and Saturday night we went to a dinner party with his partner. Today we moved half (more than half) of the stuff left at the apartment, painted and put together the dog house. Now time for entourage.
