That's my Girl!

Senator Hutchinson, my Senator, has been listed as on the fence on the immigration bill.

Yesterday, she told the White House and GOP leader which side she was on.

I wrote letters and emails to both her local office and D.C. office. My message was clear: Not this bill, not this way.

"Until major changes are made that reject amnesty and a more open, fair process emerges for debating one of the most crucial issues facing our nation, I cannot support this immigration bill," she said.

That's right, Senator, that is right.

I will not be forced-fed legislation by a bunch of bafoons that circumvented procedure in the hopes of passing a dangerous amnesty bill that will cost my children billions of dollars and that has no hope of securing the border.

Whew. What a mouth full.

It wasn't just my view, I'm sure, that got Sen. Hutchinson's attention. The people of Texas (and in deed the Nation) have spoken. Not this bill, not this way.

Overall, 63 percent of Americans disapprove of the job Congress is doing, including 60 percent of Democrats, 67 percent of Republicans and 64 percent of Independents. Apparently, voters aren’t happy with anyone in Washington these days.

It's because they are eltist punks who think they know what's best for us little peons. The people are sick of it.
