Blue Angels
San Francisco doesn't like the Blue Angels and noise pollution. "Dangerous and unnecessary."
Clearly, these people are devoid of patriotism. Nor have they ever met the Blue Angels. I used to have a poster with their signatures on it (from the "their" of then). I remember thinking at the time I'd rather have the Thunderbirds. They were way, way, way cooler. But the Blue Angels performed at the Air Show that year, not the Thunderbirds. (One's Navy and one's Air Force for those that don't know. I'll let you guess which is which.)
The Blue Angels are a symbol and beacon of national pride and the service of our men and women overseas. If San Francisco doesn't want them to perform, I'm sure they can find many other places that do.
Come visit Dallas, Blue Angels! I'll come see you! Looks like they are coming to Fort Worth in October. I will be THERE!
PS -- visit their website. The Blue Angels and the Navy's code flies across a pretty snazzy flash image. Honor. Courage. Committment.
Yeah those are terrible things for a city like San Francisco to endorse.
Hoo-RAH! The sound of Freedom! (Thunderbirds pictured below!)
