Interesting: Last Nights Debate

Now I didn't watch it. I was doing laundry and getting the house ready to pack.

But I read a little with my coffee this morning. And Hugh Hewitt wrote a great piece about John McCain and why he's not fairing too well against his other Rebublican Nominees.

From where I sit ... I can't get excited about any of this. I like Mitt, I do, in a world full of far left and far right ... I think he's the most center. That having been said, I don't know where he stands on a bunch of things (universal health care, social security, tax cuts, etc.) and I think it's going to be impossible for him based on his personal life.

Sorry bud ... if JFK had a hard time because he was a Catholic, you're going to have a monster of a time. And if gets the nomination opposite Hillary's Dem ... well It's Madame President in 2008. In fact, current race infront of me ... as long as Hillary gets her nomination ... I don't see a real heavy hitter to compete against her. Now she may beat herself, but we'll see.

Meanwhile ... somewhere Fred Thompson waits ...

Read what Hugh wrote about John McCain if you have time.
