Got Knut?



Have you heard about this guy? He is just about the cutest thing I have ever seen. He was rejected by his mother after his brother died, so the zoo keepers took care of him and bottle fed him, and still are I think. Knut got international attention when a London (I think??) Animal Rights guy said the zoo should euthanize the coca-cola bear instead of forcing him to deal with the "humiliation" of being domesticated.


No worries about Knut being injected though ... the Germans LOVE LOVE LOVE him. And I LOVE LOVE LOVE him. Who could want to hurt the Coca-Cola bear?

Would it be better if his Mom had accepted him and he could grow up with other Polar Bears? Yeah. But with the dwindling number of them, it just seems silly to let one die (or worse, kill one) when we can save it.

And he *is* adorable!

And he's so gosh-darned cute!

I agree that he'd be better off growing up with his own kind--but killing him? When there are so few polar bears left in the world anyway? That's crazy talk!
