You can't demand a big, fuel guzzling jet and then demand that American's lower emissions.
By the way ... don't look for an opposing view in that Times article listed above. You won't find it.
And Congressman Murtha ... don't make idle threats. It's not nice. And are you telling me you'll stop funding the servicemen who fight for this country simply because the Pentagon can't guarantee that Sen. Pelosi has a non-stop government flight to and from San Fran? Her time is worth more than American lives?
I think not. So stop making idle threats.
I'm sick of this story. Take the jet and move on. And quit trying to get free rides for your staff. Sadly, security for your interns is not a federal concern. So they can fly commercial. Out of Dulles. Since Reagan doesn't have non-stop to San Fran. And which, if you read the bloggers, is the cruxt of the problem. Me I'm sticking with the security thing ... I think the Seargent at arms said it was unsafe to fly commercial. Alright I'm done.
