Planes ... Other Nonesense
Yesterday I posted about supposed "greenies" who demand jets.
Well today I'm taking the negativity out of that post and siding with Nancy. Why? Let's blame it on incomplete reading and a light bulb that didn't go off. Because when told the plane the pentagon was going to give her wasn't non-stop she said "I'll fly commercial," but the Seargant at Arms of the Senate, citing security concerns, wouldn't let her and discouraged that practice.
Well if they can't get her there non-stop ... and they won't let her fly commercial non-stop ... they need to give her a jet that will get there non-stop. They let Hastert have his own jet ... he just benefited from the fact that he was from Illinois and not Cali. She's being discriminated against for living further away from D.C. Okay, maybe not discriminated against but definitely critized wrongly.
Security concerns force her to fly on a private jet. As long as that is the case she ought to be able to have a jet that can get there in one trip. She's the 3rd in line for the Presidency ... we can accomodate this one thing, I think.
As long as she's not screaming at me for driving SUV's while so doing ... :)

Not much today ... but this is funny from Lone Star Times. The Houston Chron isn't their favorite paper. They point out all the errors in a story.
