Deathly Hollows
***UPDATED: I giggled when I saw my new countdown above all postings here. I hope you like it! I will be anxiously awaiting the release of this book and now everyone that visits here will know exactly when it's coming out. More news though ... the release date was announced at 7 a.m. so I imagine booksellers had pre-sales ready by 8:00 at the latest. But if you check Amazon or Barnes and Noble ... Harry 7 is already #1 and often #2 (deluxe edition). This will be the biggest book EVER!***
Harry Potter 7 - the final book - will be released July 21, 2007.
This is both great, and sad, news.
Great, because I can not wait to see how this story ends, and sad because it will be the last time I read of Harry. Supposedly. People say things all the time. ;)
But there is talk that perhaps Jo has rushed this book in order to comply with publishers and the eager public and maybe the book won't be as good as it could be. I'd rather wait another year and have a great product than be dissappointed with the final chapter in Harry's saga. And I guess maybe the concern is the editors will miss things (reading comments on Muggle Net).
Either way ... I may have to take a few days off from work in July, 1) to see the movie and 2) to read the book as fast as humanely possible without missing one iota of imagery or content.
Yeah Harry Potter and the Deathy Hollows! I hope you're name is not quite as odious as it sounds!
