Thanksgiving 2006

Lewis and I went to Houston for Thanksgiving this year and it was a great time. There was approximately 25 people there from New York, New Jersey, Seattle, Dallas (guess who!), Kerrville, Malakoff, and the list goes on and on. Elaine's sister Ann and her family came down from Seattle and we don't see them often. But they are great people. Lewis and I are going to plan a trip to Seattle this summer (I've never been) to visit them.

We came in Wednesday night, had dinner with Jason (whom we also don't get to visit with as often as we'd like) and then went back to Lewis and Elaine's to visit. Thursday I cooked in the morning at Matt and Danyelle's house (they were in San Antonio with her family) and then the Thanksgiving festivities! Which, after eating, always include games of bingo, cards, and chess. And football. We can not forget football.

Friday and Saturday we spent quality time with everyone. I got to visit with our nieces and nephews. The newest niece Hannah, is beautiful and pleasant and just wonderful, Thomas, pictured above, is 2 and fabulous and look at those blues! William is smart as a whip and into everything. Victoria is always wonderful, and this year she tried to introduce all the other kids to snails. Some took to it more than others. And Seth and Seirra are always fun. I love all the nieces and nephews. And my cousins ... Christopher, Lindsey were fun. I took them ice skating with Matthew, the foreign exchange student from Korea. It was a great trip.

I can not wait till Christmas! I start decorating tonight! :) That blog coming ... but for now ... I took over 100 pictures. I know, ya'll think I'm nuts. But there HERE at Shutterfly.
