Well Played Mr. Schlesinger
Republican Alan Schlesinger is running for Senator Leiberman's seat in Conneticutt. I've always like Leiberman as he has always appeared to be a reasonable man and a good politican, if there ever was such a thing.
But at the debate last night a heckler disrupted Leiberman's closing remarks and wouldn't let him finish. Leiberman calmly waited while security (took their sweet time) escorted the heckler out. It went on an on for like five minutes. But Schlesinger stood up, said "All due respect Senator Leiberman, LEAVE THIS AUDIENCE NOW! GET OUT OF HERE!" Or at least the last part sounded something like that, because the audience erupted in aplause.
The video is at Michelle Malkin's hot air. Well played Mr. Schlesinger. Well played.
PS - Also check out the video Michelle links to of Ronald Reagan shouting down a heckler. Classic.
