Proud Bloggers
I have many a thing to say about Reuters and their ridiculous excuse for morals and standards, but I'm going to let it pass. Because the bloggers out there are making my heart light. Bloggers, everyday people with every day jobs who've discovered an outlet for their frustration are making a difference. And it's not that they are making a difference pushing an agenda, they are pushing for the truth. And its working!
Last night on CNN Paula Zahn's lead story was going to be about Reuters and the photographs. There is no way she could get there that whole segment without mentioning Little Gree Footballs at least once. And EU Referendum may have made the cut. For those of us that don't have a voice in the media - blogging has given us a voice.
I'm no where near the calaber or expertise as the other bloggers that are helping shape the worlds communcations. But I'm proud of myself for knowing about them, for reading them, for in some small measuring counting myself among them. It brings a whole new meaning to the theory that one voice can make a difference.
In the age of internet and information traveling at the speed of light, one voice can make a difference. One voice can reach millions. And one voice can speak the truth and the world will listen.

Altered photos have no place in war coverage, journalism
Breaking: Reuters pulls all 920 of Adnan Hajj’s photos
Reuters withdraws all photos by Lebanese freelance
The list goes on and on. Bloggers did this. Congratulations. Bloggers strike again! Mark this in the column for a win for the little guys, and a win for the press as this sort of behavior has no business being incorporated with good, upstanding journalism.
