Lay Spotting

I read this hillarious post on Lone Star Times:

"How do we know he really died? I have not seen any incontrovertable
evidence of his demise, just a few scripted press releases. This is not the time
to rely on the Houston Crime Lab.
This morning we read his body has been
cremated.

If one had stolen tens if not hundreds of millions, been convicted, and
let go, they would have the incentive as well as the cash to fake a death, and
sneak out of the country. Who knows, Kenny Boy could be sitting on some sunny
beach right now toasting the flaws in the Liberalized American justice
system.

Suckers!!!!!!!!!!!"

Sooo funny. Another post a few posts down was that Lay had been spotted somewhere, maybe Vegas along with Elvis. I laughed. I thought it was funny.

I know that Mr. Lay did a terrible, terrible thing to Houston's economy, and if you ask my husband he says Mr. Lay is on a fast ticket to hell for stealing and robbing people of their retirements and livelihoods. My feeling is Mr. Lay was a man that did terrible things, and made many mistakes. But people are rarely only one thing, and this man also was a father and a husband. I'm very sorry for their loss and I truly hope that the media and the country let them bury him (cremate him) in peace. And I hope people will remember that judging and condemning isn't really in the human job description.

And the real tragedy here is that justice was not carried out, and now he has escaped the jail time he was due. I also am glad this was not ruled a suicide, because I've seen many episodes and movies where they take all sorts of medication that induce heart attacks. And a suicide would not be very kind to his family who has already suffered enough.
