This Touches Us All
This is scary. Michelle Malkin's webblog has been a victim of something called a CyberJihad.

They have effectively closed down Michelle's website because she was showing the Danish Cartoons. They are silencing a huge portion of our media. Many websites have been affected. Read all of the background material that Michelle has available. I can not believe that this sort of thing is taking place. In our society, we live by our freedom of speech. Almost every other freedom takes place because of our freedom of speech. I could not imagine living in China or in the Middle East and not being able to speak my mind in this forum. I would not be able to type what I write here.
I dont know what the FBI is doing, but I hope and pray that its enough. I've never, ever been afraid to publish or say anything on this blog before, and I am not about to start now. But I have to admit, I checked to make sure my blog looked the same (the jihadists have been defacing websites) and was up and running. And I also checked to see if I had published the cartoons, and I wondered if, even my small blog, would catch the attention of a cyber punk.
I don't advocate for the blatant offending of any religion. But I do think that these extremists turning to violence because they are offended is a shame and a crime. Grow up. Your religion is still yours and still holds its truths no matter what none believers say.
I pray for Michelle Malkin and her family and all the bloggers out there that are being victimized. I pray for anyone that values freedom of speech. I truly hope that in the end, our freedoms will prevail.
